Catastrophe Strikes as Accidental Explosion at Law Enforcement Facility in Indian-administered Kashmir Takes Nine Deaths
A catastrophic blast at a law enforcement facility in the Indian-controlled part of Kashmir has caused the loss of nine people and harm to thirty-two more, according to authority reports.
The event happened when a collection of impounded blast substances accidentally blew up during processing activities.

The detonation happened on the evening of Friday at the Nowgam law enforcement facility, where blast substances confiscated in Faridabad in the northern territory of Haryana state were being kept briefly.
Area law enforcement head stated that the detonation substances were scheduled for forensic examination when a "extremely tragic" mishap during handling caused their detonation at approximately 23:20 in the evening.

"The power of the explosion was so powerful that some physical fragments were found in close-by residences, approximately between 100 and 200 meters from the law enforcement facility," stated an authority informant.
The majority of the casualties were law enforcement personnel, along with technical investigation team, two evidence documentation specialists, and a garment worker who was accompanying the group.
