News has broken that beloved actors Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson are returning to their iconic characters in the newest chapter of the Hunger Games film series, titled The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. The project is now in the works.

A Major Return to Panem

Lawrence and Hutcherson are returning as Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, the roles they originated. Speculation suggests their cameos will probably be featured in a future-set scene, given that the original saga concluded with their characters married and with children.

Sunrise on the Reaping draws its story from a newly published work by series creator Suzanne Collins.
